The MODA-TEL consortium participants have build a project team with the necessary skills and expertise, including research and development centres with high innovation and dissemination capabilities (EURESCOM, University of Twente), telecommunications systems developers which provide the real context for problem definition and technical solutions validation and application (Intracom, T-Systems Nova), platform solutions and products providers with high technological knowledge and capability for developing tools that automate concepts implementation (Softeam, Interactive Objects), and finally users of advanced component-based solutions in the telecommunications domain (France Telecom, Telenor).
The consortium has also significant capabilities to contribute to the OMG specification and standardisation process because most partners are involved in the OMG and for some partners the primary technical contact point is appointed to contribute to the project.
The consortium presents a European dimension, not only because of including five countries (France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway and Greece) which represent an important proportion of European population (and companies), but also because of the high capability of the participants to disseminate and exploit MODA-TEL results in other European countries through EURESCOM and its far reach into the European telecommunications companies.
